Lowestoft and Beccles MP Jess Asato has been named Parliamentary Ally of the Year at the Total Politics Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls Awards.
The award recognises her work supporting efforts to tackle violence against women and girls and campaigning for change.
Speaking after receiving the award, Ms Asato said she was "thrilled" by the recognition but said the achievement should be shared with survivors and the frontline specialist organisations she has worked with over the past year.
She praised those organisations for their work supporting victims and for helping to drive improvements to the system for future generations.
Ms Asato said collaboration between campaigners, support services and policymakers was essential in reducing violence against women and girls.
The award highlights ongoing national efforts to address violence against women and girls and recognises individuals and organisations working to improve prevention, support and awareness.
Ms Asato thanked those she has worked alongside and said she remained committed to helping bring about lasting change.
