A historic flypast has been announced as part of this year's Beccles Carnival celebrations.
Organisers have confirmed that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is scheduled to appear over Beccles on the Sunday afternoon of the carnival weekend on the 16th August.
The announcement was made by this year's Mrs Beccles, Laura Rudd, who shared the news with East Suffolk One ahead of the town's annual event.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight preserves and displays historic Royal Air Force aircraft, and its appearances are a popular attraction at events across the country.
The flypast is expected to be one of the highlights of the carnival weekend, drawing spectators from across the area to look to the skies above Beccles.
Further details about timings and the wider carnival programme are expected to be announced closer to the event.
