A Bungay man has been charged with four stalking offences involving two women who live outside Suffolk.
Gary Summers, 56, of Kings Road, has been charged with two counts of stalking involving serious alarm or distress and two counts of racially or religiously aggravated stalking involving serious alarm or distress.
Police said the alleged offences took place over a period spanning from early last year to autumn this year.
Summers was first arrested on suspicion of stalking and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning before being released on bail while enquiries continued.
He is due to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court next month.
As criminal proceedings are now active, it is important to remember that charges are allegations and the defendant is entitled to a fair trial.
