Rail passengers travelling between Lowestoft and Beccles are set to benefit from new late evening train services later this month.
From today (Monday 18th May), a new 10.40pm service will run from Lowestoft to Beccles from Monday to Saturday. A new return service will then leave Beccles at 11pm for Lowestoft, alongside the existing 11.24pm service already in the timetable.
Passengers using the East Suffolk Line will also see an earlier weekday morning arrival into Lowestoft. The 6.17am Ipswich to Lowestoft service will arrive in the town at 8.01am from Monday to Friday.
Additional stops at Westerfield are also being introduced on Saturdays and Sundays from Sunday 17th May.
Updated timetable information is available through Greater Anglia and National Rail services.
Meanwhile, they will be additional bus services from Lowestoft train station from the 24th May - and include the X1, 99 and 998 services.
