Lowestoft Armed Forces Day 2026

All local Military associations have been invited and we have confirmation from:
The Royal Engineers,
The Royal Artillery,
The Royal Anglian/Suffolk Regiment,
all local cadet units,
St Johns,
Suffolk Police & Fire Brigade
as well as numerous other “associations” SSAFA, Red Cross, Salvation army etc.
We also have military enactments groups coming along from Dads Army to the Gulf War as well as a full size replicate Spitfire.
We also have the pipes and drums of the Norwich Pipe Band as well requests into the American airbase at Lakenheath for their Colour Party to attend.
Also running along side at the same time will be local artists/groups performing on a stage at the Sparrows Nest to entertain the crowd on the day.
We will also be supported by regular Army personnel from the Sappers and the Gunners bringing along some of their equipment.
The event is for the Town to show it’s support as it has done for any a year with the armed Forces both past and present.
The event is open to all to show inclusion within the Town concentrating in this event.
