Calls are being made for free driving safety workshops for older motorists to be held in east Suffolk, including around Saxmundham.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service is currently running sessions aimed at drivers aged 65 and over, offering advice designed to improve confidence, refresh road knowledge and promote safer driving.
However, independent Suffolk county councillor Julia Ewart says the workshops have not yet been available in east Suffolk.
She is now asking for sessions to be organised in the Saxmundham area so older drivers locally can take part.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, say the county has one of the highest proportions of older drivers in the UK, and the workshops are intended to help motorists stay confident and safe on modern roads.
The sessions are offered free of charge and focus on practical guidance and road awareness for older drivers.
