Halesworth Town Park is set to host the town’s Annual Parish Meeting alongside a full day of community activities and entertainment.
The free event will run on Saturday - 16th May - from mid-afternoon into the evening and is open to everyone.
Residents will have the opportunity to meet local councillors, ask questions and discuss issues affecting the town in an informal setting.
The event will also feature food stalls, craft and gift stands, children’s activities, face painting and live music throughout the day and evening.
Local voluntary organisations will be attending to share information about their work and ways people can get involved in the community.
Live performances are planned from musicians including Mark Anthony and Isaac, with evening entertainment from band The Annex.
Organisers say the event is designed to bring the community together while also giving residents the chance to take part in the town’s official parish meeting.
