A Lowestoft fitness instructor has raised more than £3,000 for the Little Princess Trust after cutting off around 40 centimetres of his hair.
Jakob Galer-Rose took on the challenge to support the charity, which provides wigs and practical support for children and young people who lose their hair due to cancer treatment and other medical conditions.
After growing his hair for a significant period, Jakob decided to have around 40cm removed, using the haircut as an opportunity to raise money and awareness for the cause.
His fundraising campaign has now passed the £3,000 mark, with donations coming from supporters across the local community and beyond - and you can still donate in the link here.
The Little Princess Trust uses donated hair to help create wigs for children and young people experiencing hair loss, while also funding research into childhood cancers.
Based at NR Fitness Lowestoft, Jakob's efforts have been praised by supporters, with the fundraiser highlighting the generosity of local residents and the willingness of people to back causes that make a difference to young lives.
The successful campaign not only raised a substantial amount of money but also helped shine a spotlight on the work carried out by the charity.
Supporters continue to congratulate Jakob on both the fundraising total and his commitment to helping children and families facing difficult circumstances.
