Rowers from across the UK are visiting East Suffolk and the Broads as part of a British Rowing tour taking place over the weekend.
The event sees participants split into three groups, each following different routes through the region while visiting a number of rowing clubs and waterside venues.
Preparations began in Beccles, where volunteers helped unload equipment before it was transported to Lowestoft. Rowers arrived throughout the day to register ahead of the weekend's activities.
During the tour, participants will rotate between several locations, including Beccles Rowing Club, Lowestoft Rowing Club, Norfolk Broads Yacht Club in Wroxham, and Yare Boat Club.
The tour concludes with some groups finishing their journeys at Lowestoft Rowing Club.
Organisers say the event has relied heavily on support from local volunteers and rowing clubs, particularly in Beccles, helping ensure the weekend runs smoothly.
Alongside a packed rowing programme, participants are being provided with meals and opportunities to experience some of the region's best-known waterways.
The tour not only brings visitors into the area but also highlights the strength of the local rowing community and the important role clubs and volunteers play in supporting the sport.
