Two Killed After Haddiscoe Road Crash

Police renew appeal after two people die following A143 crash near Haddiscoe

Police are appealing for witnesses after two people died following a serious collision on the A143 at Haddiscoe.

The crash happened when a black Ford Ka left the road and overturned into a water-filled ditch on Saturday afternoon on the 30th May.

The driver, a man in his 70s, and a passenger, a woman in her 60s, were taken to hospital in a critical condition following the incident.

Norfolk Police have now confirmed that both occupants have died from their injuries. The man died in hospital on 2nd June, while the woman died the following day.

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed what happened.

They are also asking motorists who were travelling on the A143 in the Haddiscoe area at the time to check any dashcam footage that may assist enquiries.

Police would like information about the manner of driving before the collision, as well as any footage or witness accounts that could help establish the circumstances leading up to the crash.
