The Carpetright location in Lowestoft will close as part of a takeover by its rival Tapi.
Carpetright called in the administrators earlier this month following poor sales.
The rescue plan includes the closure of 213 stores and the loss of more than a thousand jobs. Fifty-four stores will remain open including two in Suffolk at Ipswich and Stowmarket.
Tapi was set up by the son of the man who originally founded Carpetright In 1988.
