Police in Halesworth have seized a vehicle after discovering the driver was not insured to drive it.
The vehicle was stopped during routine patrols in the town.
Following checks, officers established that the driver did not have valid insurance cover for the vehicle.
As a result, the vehicle was seized.
Police are reminding motorists that it is their responsibility to ensure they have the correct insurance in place before driving any vehicle.
Driving without insurance is an offence and can lead to vehicles being seized, as well as fines, penalty points and increased insurance costs in the future.
Officers are encouraging all road users to check that their documents are up to date and that they are properly insured before setting off.
Police added that making sure vehicles are legally insured helps keep roads safer for everyone.
