Residents along the Suffolk coast are being reminded that the consultation on the proposed LionLink Interconnector is closing soon.
The statutory consultation run by National Grid is due to close on Tuesday, giving people a final opportunity to review the proposals and share their views.
The LionLink project would create an electricity interconnector linking the UK and the Netherlands, with infrastructure planned along parts of the Suffolk coastline. As the project develops, feedback from residents, businesses and community groups will help inform the next stages of planning.
Members of the public can review the consultation documents and submit their comments online using the official consultation form. Responses can also be sent by email to the project team.
National Grid says the consultation is an important part of the planning process, allowing local people to raise questions, highlight concerns and provide feedback on the proposals before they move forward.
Further details about the project and the consultation process are available on the National Grid website.
