There have been reprts that a woman has been found dead at a house in Lowestoft, prompting an emergency services response.
Police were called to a property on Sutherland Drive at around midday on Thursday (29th January), where officers attended alongside an ambulance and an ambulance commander vehicle. A woman in her 60s was found dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed that the woman’s next of kin have been notified. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A file will now be prepared for the coroner, who will consider the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
There is no indication of any wider risk to the public, and police say no further action is planned at this stage.
