A woman has dies after being involved in a road crash in Thorpeness.

A woman has dies after being involved in a road crash in Thorpeness.

Police were called just before 4am on Saturday 13th August to a single-vehicle incident on the B1353 involving a Volkswagen Up.

The driver, a woman aged in her 70s, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital by air ambulance, where she sadly later died.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have seen the vehicle around the time of the collision. Anyone with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle that was in the area is asked to review the footage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
