A woman has been arrested following a reported missing persons incident in the Lowestofr area.
Officers were called at 9.22am on Tuesday 13th May, to reports that a four-year-old boy had gone missing while in Sands Lane in Oulton Broad.
Following enquiries involving police, Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, the boy was located safe and well in another county.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wasting police time and was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
