Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported road rage incident near Wangford.
The incident on Tuesday 7th April, at approximately 12:30pm involved a cyclist travelling along the B1126, close to the junction with the A12. It’s reported the cyclist overtook a silver Volkswagen Polo, believing it had pulled over.
The vehicle then followed the cyclist to Wangford Road in Uggeshall, where the driver is said to have got out and approached the victim, shouting abuse and making threats.
The suspect is described as a white man aged in his 50s or 60s.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who was driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage, to review it and come forward if they have any information.
