Vote in Suffolk Elections Today

Voters across east Suffolk are being reminded that polling stations are open today for local elections.

Residents in areas including Lowestoft, Beccles and Leiston have until 10 tonight to cast their vote.

County council seats are being contested, with polling stations welcoming voters throughout the day.

People planning to vote are being encouraged to make sure they arrive before polling stations close this evening to ensure their ballot is counted.

Election officials are also reminding voters to check they have the correct photo ID at polling stations to cast their vote.
