VE Day 80 Celebrated in Suffolk

Across east Suffolk our towns and villages are celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

From Southwold’s Civic Parade and Framlingham’s free community event and Leiston’s tribute evening - to Kessingland’s Celebration Party and 1940s music in Beccles, Thursday has seen people remember the ending of the Second World War in Europe.

In Lowestoft, the Sparrow’s Nest Gardens will be the focus for the ceremanies, entertainment and displays…
