Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenage girls were assaulted in Lowestoft.
The incident took place at around 10:30pm on London Road North on Sunday (10th August), near the junction with Gordon Road. The victims told police they were approached by a man who asked one of them for her social media profile details.
When she refused, the man punched her in the head, causing a nose bleed and redness. The second girl was also punched in the head, leaving her in pain. Both were treated at the scene by ambulance staff and did not require hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, around 5ft 6ins tall, of skinny build, with a beard and blonde curly hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help the investigation to come forward.
