Police are appealing for information after a fire in Carlton Colville which spread to a car and nearby property.
Officers were called by Suffolk Fire and Rescue to Ullswater shortly before 7.35pm, after reports that a bin had been deliberately set alight.
The fire spread quickly to a hedge, fence and a parked car, causing extensive damage before being brought under control.
Police are treating the incident as arson and are now asking for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: “We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the fire.”
