As we head into another winter, there are fears about the ongoing erosion of Pakefield cliffs.

As we head into another winter, there are fears about the ongoing erosion of Pakefield cliffs.

For the past two years, the coastline has been badly damaged by the wind and sea with experts saying the erosion rate has exceeded all expectations.

The caravan park has lost some concrete bases and 4 clifftop properties are also at risk.

Now East Suffolk District Council are asking the people of Pakefield about what’s important to be saved, and how best to manage the coastline.

Year 10 and 11 students in local schools are being offered the chance to sign up to hear how climate change resilient the local beaches and rivers are.
