Another huge gathering in East Suffolk this weekend with the vessels festival celebrating all things maritime.

Another huge gathering in East Suffolk this weekend with the vessels festival celebrating all things maritime.

Running throughout Saturday at Lowestoft's Heritage Pier on the South Pier - the festival will also feature a rare spectacle - scores of historic fishing smacks, shrimpers and boats to racing off the Suffolk coast.

It’s all part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Lowestoft’s famous The Excelsior.
