A chef apprentice working near Halesworth has secured a place in the final of a major international cooking competition.
Scarlet, who works at the Queen’s Head in Bramfield near Halesworth, will travel to Venice to compete in the CombiGuru Challenge finals.
She earned her place after competing against thousands of students from across Europe, standing out among entrants from colleges in the UK, Italy and Spain.
The final will see her take part in a timed cooking competition, where she will prepare dishes for a panel of international chef judges.
Her success is being seen as a proud moment for the team at teh Queen's Head and local area, highlighting emerging culinary talent from our region.
The competition will take place in Italy, where she will represent both her workplace and the wider area on an international stage.
