Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A143 at Haddiscoe which has left two people in a critical condition.
Emergency services were called after a black Ford Ka left the road and overturned into a water-filled ditch.
The driver, a man in his 70s, and a female passenger in her 60s were both taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say they remain in a critical condition.
Officers are now appealing for information as part of their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the vehicle before the crash, or has information about the manner of driving leading up to it.
Police are also asking motorists who were travelling on the A143 in the area at the time to check any dashcam footage which may assist enquiries.
