Residents in Saxmundham are being invited to comment on a revised planning document that will help guide future development in the town.
Saxmundham Town Council has produced an updated Neighbourhood Plan, setting out a vision for how the town should grow and change in the years ahead. The document aims to protect and enhance key services and facilities, while preserving the character of the area and supporting the needs of future generations.
The Neighbourhood Plan plays an important role in shaping local planning decisions, influencing how land is used and what type of development may be supported.
A public consultation is now under way, giving residents the opportunity to share their views on the proposals before the document progresses further.
East Suffolk Council opened the public consultation for the town's draft modified Neighbourhood Plan, on 18th February and ends on Wednesday 1st April.
The East Suffolk Council web page - from which you can download the draft Plan and related documents, plus the comments form - is on this link.
