Emergency services were called to a number of incidents across East Suffolk on Saturday, including a three-vehicle collision in Beccles and separate incidents in Lowestoft and near Saxmundham.
In Beccles, a motorist involved in a collision at the George Westwood Way junction near Tesco has thanked members of the public and emergency services for their help.
The driver said they were stationary in a pickup truck waiting to turn right when two vans collided before striking their vehicle on Saturday afternoon.
In a message shared afterwards on social media, the motorist praised those who stopped to assist at the scene and thanked emergency crews for their swift response.
Meanwhile, emergency services were also called to an incident on Long Road in Lowestoft also on Saturday afternoon. The road was closed for a period while crews dealt with the situation.
On Sunday evening, police closed the northbound A12 at Marlesford, towards Saxmundham, following a three-vehicle crash.
The closure caused disruption for motorists travelling through the area while emergency services attended and the vehicles were recovered.
