Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Halesworth.
The incident happened on Bridge Street following what officers describe as a road rage incident.
A man in his 60s reported that a male suspect punched the bonnet of his car before cycling away. A short time later, the two encountered each other again outside the library, where the suspect punched the victim three times, causing minor reddening.
The suspect also broke off the victim’s car key fob from the ignition and left the scene with it.
The man is described as white, in his early 50s, with black hair, wearing a black jacket, black trousers, and a black cycling helmet. He was seen with a woman who had blonde hair and was wearing pink cycling shorts and a pink helmet.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who recognises the people involved, to come forward.
