A special service of rememebrance has been held in Lowestoft
The ceremony was held on the town's South Pier as part of the Lowestoft Service of Remembrance as part of the Fishermen's Mission's very first National Fishing Remembrance Day.
The commemoration took place at the end of the South Pier - near the 'Miraculous Catch' sculpture. The service included prayers, readings and music to remember all the fishermen who have lost their lives at sea.
The service was be led by Mission Area officer Amanda Wisher from the Fishermen’s Mission and supported by Chaplain Julian Wong from Stella Maris.
