The cheque has been presented to the Southwold and Dunwich RNLI Fundraising Branch, following the annual festive event which attracts swimmers and spectators each year.
Funds raised have also supported other local causes, including a Parkinson’s charity and the Pear Tree Fund.
Organisers have thanked everyone who took part, donated or supported the event, highlighting the strong community spirit behind the fundraiser.
The Christmas Day Swim has become a key date in the town’s calendar, bringing people together while raising money for important local services.
Plans are already in place for the next event, with organisers encouraging residents and visitors to take part again.
