Mixed reaction as plans to convert a Suffolk holiday camp for hundreds of Sizewell C workers get confirmed.
Plans to convert a Suffolk holiday camp for hundreds of Sizewell C workers have been confirmed.
There has been a mixed reaction to the news thatPontins, between Pakefield and Kessingland, will eventually house around 500 people who will travel the 20 mile or so journey to help build the nuclear power plant.
To move will follow a major refurbishment of the holiday camp - and become home to just part of a workforce of around 8000 during Sizewell C’s construction.
Wavenet MP Peter Aldous has been supportive of the plans, whilst fierce oppostion continues from local groups against the building of a third nuclear power station on the Suffolk Coast.
