A mother and daughter from Lowestoft who had been missing for several months have been found safe and well.
Lorna Nightingale, aged 70, and Emma Nightingale, aged 36, were reported missing to police in August, having last been seen in February and June respectively.
Suffolk Police have now confirmed that the pair were found safe on Tuesday 30th September.
The search operation was led by the force’s Crime, Safeguarding and Incident Management Command, with significant support from colleagues across the constabulary — including County Policing Command, Missing Person Advisors, the Technical Support Unit, Surveillance Unit, and Intelligence Unit.
Police say the effort was also supported by several partner agencies and charities, as well as the British Transport Police and other regional forces.
A Suffolk Police spokesperson thanked people for their help in sharing the appeal and assisting with information.
Both Lorna and Emma are now safe, and police say no further action is required.
