A man has been arrested following a serious road traffic collision in Wrentham.
Police were called at 5.15pm on Thursday 9th September, to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1127 - Chapel Road, at the junction with Guildhall Lane.
The incident involved a grey Renault Clio and a blue Yamaha 79 motorcycle. The rider of the motorbike, a 31-year-old man, was flown by air ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, having sustained potentially life-changing leg injuries.
Road closures were in place until 10pm whilst a collision investigation took place and to allow for the vehicles to be recovered.
A 32-year-old man from the Southwold area was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
