The Sunrise Samba from Lowestoft is celebrating after winning the Best Sound award at this year's Norwich Lord Mayor's Procession.
The band, which is connected with the Marina Theatre, has been praised for its achievement and the work members have put into developing their sound.
Lorna Pearce, Community Manager at the Marina Theatre, said the group was "incredibly proud" of the samba band and described the award as "very much deserved".
She said the band had worked hard and was a "lovely group of people", adding that the theatre had enjoyed seeing members develop and grow into the band they are today.
