The Royal Naval Patrol Service Association (RNPSA) will mark its 50th anniversary with a special Service of Remembrance in Lowestoft.
The event takes place in Belle Vue Park at 11am, followed by a parade at Sparrows Nest Gardens, where the salute will be taken at the Europa Bandstand. Entertainment will then be provided by the Vibettes, and the RNPSA Museum will open once the performances conclude.
In 2024, Lowestoft Town Council awarded the Freedom of the Town — its highest civic honour — to the RNPSA in recognition of its work supporting veterans of the Royal Naval Patrol Service.
More information about the Association and its history can be found on the RNPSA website.
