An Ellough business has been fined £330,000 following an investigation into a tragic accident which led to the death of one of its employees.
34-year-old father of one Nathan Hook, suffered fatal head injuries while using a lathe at Maynard and Harris Plastics in 2021.
The Health and Safety Executive’s investigation found the company had failed to give suitable health and safety training on the use of emery cloth on lathes - and also ordered they company it to pay over £4,000 in costs.
