More than 3,500 illegal vapes have been seized from a storage container in Lowestoft, following a tip-off to Suffolk Trading Standards.
The discovery was made on Wednesday 6th August, after officers acted on intelligence received from a partner agency. Trading Standards staff worked into the night to document and remove the illegal products.
Investigations are now underway to determine who owns the items and what offences have been committed.
The seizure is part of ongoing efforts to tackle the sale and distribution of illegal vaping products across Suffolk.
A spokesperson from Suffolk Trading Standards said the operation was a key step in protecting consumers and ensuring only safe, legal products are available on the market.
If you have any information about the sale or storage of illegal vapes, you are encouraged to contact the Citizens Advice Consumer Service on 0808 223 1133.
Further updates may be released as the investigation continues.
