Halesworth Museum has reopened to visitors following a programme of refurbishment carried out over the winter.
The improvements include new exhibits, upgraded doors and windows, and updated signage, giving the museum a refreshed look for the new season.
Much of the work was completed by volunteers, highlighting the strong community effort behind the project. The refurbishment was also supported by a £10,000 grant from Greater Anglia’s Customer and Community Improvement Fund.
The funding helped make the upgrades possible, ensuring the museum can continue to welcome visitors and showcase local history in improved surroundings.
Halesworth Museum is a key attraction in the town, offering exhibitions that reflect the area’s heritage and community stories. The latest improvements aim to enhance the visitor experience while preserving its role as a local cultural hub.
The reopening marks the start of a new chapter for the museum, with volunteers continuing to play a vital role in its operation and development.
