The incident was reported around 8:37pm on Thursday 7th August. Approximately 200 tonnes of hay bales are well alight.
Four fire engines from Saxmundham, Woodbridge, Framlingham, and Ipswich East, along with a water carrier from Leiston, have been sent to the scene.
Crews are working alongside farm machinery to create a fire break and prevent the flames from spreading further. The fire remains ongoing, and efforts to bring it fully under control are continuing.
Police are also in attendance. There are currently no reports of injuries or damage to buildings, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
