A team of fundraisers from the east Suffolk area has raised £2,000 after completing a challenging long-distance cycle ride in support of a local charity.
Staff from Rosedale Funeral Home took on a 62-mile journey from Halesworth, through Beccles and eventually to Diss, raising money for Waveney Shims, an organisation that supports families affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).
The group described the ride as both challenging and rewarding, with the distance testing their endurance but the cause keeping them motivated throughout.
Waveney Shims provides support and assistance to families across the area who are living with the impact of MS, offering practical help and community connection.
The fundraising effort highlights the continued support from local businesses and residents for charities making a difference in people’s lives across east Suffolk and beyond.
Organisers say they are grateful to everyone who donated and supported the team along the way, helping to raise a significant amount for the charity.
The ride not only raised funds but also awareness of the work carried out by Waveney Shims within the local community.
