Police are appealing for witnesses after children aged between 12 and 16 were chased and assaulted by a group of teenagers and young adults at a skate park in Carlton Colville.
The incident happened at about 4.45pm on 19th April in Carlton Meadow Park. After a disagreement with another child about a football a group of older people arrived, some armed with weapons consisting of bats and a bike lock.
A chase ensued and one young boy was hurt when he was hit in the neck by a bike lock. The unknown suspects then left on bikes and mopeds.
