A Beccles buisness has reassured customers it remains open as usual – despite scaffolding staying in place for an unusual reason.
A notice displayed at the local Nationwide branch explains that building work has been delayed after a pigeon made a home on the structure.
The sign, visible to customers, confirms the scaffolding will remain a little longer than planned while the bird occupies the space.
Despite the delay, the branch says it is continuing to operate as normal.
The situation has drawn attention from passers-by, with the message highlighting the unexpected reason behind the extended works.
