Saxmundham Town Council is inviting residents to step forward and help shape the future of the town by becoming a councillor.
The council is currently seeking new members to join through co-option, with the next opportunity taking place at the Council meeting on Monday 12th January.
To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years of age or over and either live or work in Saxmundham. Councillors play a key role in supporting local projects, representing residents’ views and helping to make decisions that affect the community.
Anyone interested is encouraged to contact the Town Clerk by email at townclerk@saxmundham-tc.gov.uk, ideally before Friday 9th January.
No prior experience is required—just an interest in the town and a willingness to get involved.
