Police are appealing for witnesses after a five year old girl was injured in a road accident in Beccles.
The incident happened on 20th June at 4pm on Banham Road. A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol and was taken to custody for questioning.
He was subsequently released pending further enquiries. The girl was treated at the scene and taken to the James Paget hospital for treatment to a fractured leg and has now returned home.
