Beccles’ iconic Bell Tower has been forced to close — thanks to one particularly aggressive seagull.
The bird’s nesting on the 30-metre-high roof and has reportedly attacked visitors, leading volunteers to shut the landmark for safety. It’s costing the charity hundreds of pounds, and they’re hoping to reopen soon so people can once again enjoy those views across Suffolk and the Waveney Valley.
