Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked at a pub in Leiston town centre.
The incident happened at the Engineers Arms at around 7pm on Thursday, 2nd April, when the victim tried to intervene in an argument between two people.
During the incident, the man was punched to the floor and then struck again, leaving him with a cut to his face.
The suspect then left the pub, and officers are now working to identify those involved.
Police are asking anyone who was in the pub at the time, or who may have seen what happened, to come forward. They are also keen to hear from anyone with relevant information that could assist the investigation.
