As part of of Love Your River Day today, people in Bungay were invited to a special event at Falcon Meadow.
Waveney Valley MP Adrian Ramsey opened the event, which was also attended by the Annis Hill Green Community Group, Ditchingham Men's Shed, Bungay Folk Festival and the River Waveney Trust.
After opening the event Adrian Ramsey was joined by members of the River Waveney Trust to conduct water tests for Phosphates, Ammonia and Nitrates. The water quality has been high enough for Falcon Meadow to be recognised and approved for outdoor swimming.
Love Your River Day included free activities for families throughout the afternoon. Dressing up was also encouraged, with prizes up for grabs for the fastest junior and senior, most impressive craft and best dressed entry.
