Beccles football club hit by break-in and theft

Beccles Caxton Football Club says thieves have caused damage and stolen equipment and stock during a break-in at its ground.

The club says locks were forced and damage was caused to a shed and the T-Hut overnight Friday into early Saturday morning (21st/22nd August).

Among the items stolen were a ride-on mower, petrol push mower and trimmers. All of the stock from the T-Hut was also taken.

The club says the incident has left volunteers angry and frustrated, highlighting the time and effort put into running the football club.

Anyone with information about the break-in or the whereabouts of the stolen equipment should report it to Suffolk Police.
