Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage following a number of motorbike and moped thefts in the Lowestoft and Carlton Colville area.
The incidents happened in the early hours of Thursday 4th June. Officers say a Honda CBF 125 was stolen from outside The Gym Group at Gateway Retail Park, before a moped was taken a short time later in Gondree.
Police later spotted three suspects near the Bloodmoor footbridge, but they made off on foot, jumping across gardens in Ranville, Wharfedale and nearby roads.
Officers were able to recover the two stolen bikes, along with a third motorcycle — a Honda CV 125F — whose owner has not yet been identified.
Investigators are now asking residents in the affected streets and surrounding areas to check any doorbell camera footage, CCTV or other recordings that may help the inquiry. The incidents are believed to have taken place between 12.45am and 2am.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lowestoft Response Investigation Team, quoting reference 37/31873/26, via: the Suffolk Police website: suffolk.police.uk/tell-us or by phoning 101.
Police say enquiries are ongoing and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area overnight.
