A serving Suffolk police officer has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault following alleged incidents in Beccles.
Jack Long, 36, a police constable based at Halesworth, was charged with two counts of sexual assault by touching involving two different women. He was also charged with assault on a woman.
Both alleged victims are aged over 18.
The alleged incidents took place in Beccles on 28th February 2026.
Long was charged on Monday 17th August and is currently suspended from duty.
He is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates' Court on Friday 6th November.
The charges are allegations and Long has not been convicted of any offence.
